Yellow is often a color people tend to stay away from…however we think you should give it a shot this summer. The bright color can help put a little pep in your step and add some sunshine to the most dreary day. One of us, ahem Anne tends to rock the color on a nearly daily basis…the other ahem Kate was stuck in the “yellow won’t work on me” but alas little sis convinced big sis to give it a shot.
So here we are feeling not so mellow in our yellow and matching sunglasses from Aldi!

As you probably are aware at this point, I LIVE in dresses…especially in the hot, humid DC summer. The fun bright and lightweight cotton of this Old Navy dress is perfect to transition from office to cocktails and did I mention it is a good spinning dress?!

It’s no secret, I love a good jumpsuit…however between my lack of a torso and long legs for a short gal, the fit can be difficult (and don’t get me started on the ones with zippers in the back, how is a lady supposed to use the restroom solo). When my sis sent me this adorable Old Navy one to try, I was thrilled…it is soft, easy to pull on and comes in a wide range of colors. Sometimes I guess sisters do know best.
